For our client in the central part of the Netherlands we are looking for a candidate for an independent programmer of CNC lathes with Fanuc control. The products manufactured are intended for various purposes, e.g. for the automotive industry or the mechanical engineering industry. The length of the machined parts ranges from 1.5 to 4 meters. They are manufactured as one-off pieces or in batches of up to 10 pieces. The materials used are made of steel or stainless steel. The candidate will independently program the lathe from a technical drawing, establish tolerances, seat the product in the machine and supervise that the process is going according to plan. Knowledge of using the correct tools for the material group, controlling tool wear and tool replacement is also required. The candidate is responsible for the end result and therefore also for a properly executed quality control of the produced parts. In addition, you must be independent and self-reliant in your work and be able to produce within the time limits set by your employer. 

We are looking for candidates who place professionalism and expertise first. Performing work at the highest level as well as striving for continuous improvement are important assets.

In addition, we require:

• Experience in the above-mentioned position for a minimum of 3 years
• The ability to work on the basis of technical drawings
• The ability to independently program the machine from the control panel
• Own car (essential)
• English or German language skills
